Vinlin Press Sdn Bhd is a Printing Specialist that focuses on printing and binding services in Malaysia. Initiated in 1976 by Mr Sum Teck Kwai, Vinlin has now become one of the leading printing and binding houses with services such as prepress and design, full colour commercial offset printing, in-house bindery and in-house fulfilment.

With dedication to quality, Vinlin has strives itself to be a notable printing and binding specialist through an extensive outlook to providing our clients with the most professionally run products whilst at the same time delivering competitive pricing and excellent quality to our clients.

Pre-Press

Pre-Press includes all services and processes that take place before the actual printing begins , this includes concept creation and design, making the design proofs, colour selection, developing the positives, and then the final production on metal plates on our Automatic Plate Processor Machines. 

At the PrePress stage all raw material is tested in the Production Lab before being used for the actual printing process. Good pre-press work is essential for quality reproduction. 

Our consultants will work with you closely in your origination to achieve the most desirable print results. Our prepress specialists will handle your image correction, page assembly, digital files output and proofing with accuracy, efficiency and dedication. 

In the Press process stage, our presses are manned by experienced long serving printers and the equipmentis maintained by professional engineers and technicians. Our operators are well trained and skilled at operating and controlling the output to achiece the best end results.

These four color offset printing machines are available with us in user-defined specifications.

A limited number and volume of chemicals are used in postpress operations. The major type of chemicals used in postpress are the adhesives used in binding and other assembly operations. Because chemical usage is limited, only a brief overview of each of the four major postpress operations is provided. In-line finishing, an automated process that links the press directly with postpress operations, is also discussed. 

Bindery services include cutting, padding, stapling, collating, booklet making, numbering, drilling, perforating, scoring, folding and laminating.

Digital printing refers to methods of printing from a digital-based image directly to a variety of media. It usually refers to professional printing where small-run jobs from desktop publishing and other digital sources are printed using large-format and high-volume laser or inkjet printers. 

Digital printing has a higher cost per page than more traditional offset printing methods, but this price is usually offset by avoiding the cost of all the technical steps required to make printing plates. It also allows for on-demand printing, short turnaround time, and even a modification of the image used for each impression.
